HISTORY
The Department of Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management is one of the Departments in the Faculty of Commerce and Management introduced in the 2017-2018 academic year. The Program is designed to match the modern skillset requirements in both the public and private sector.
VISION
Vision of the Department is to enhance a new cutting-edge knowledge and preparing upright, dependable, socially sensitive students that will be highly committed to the progress of procurement, logistics and supply chain management.
MISSION
In line with the mission of the University, the mission of the Department of Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management is to provide our students with an academically challenging and stimulating learning environment which will form the foundations for life-long learning and development of the skills,
knowledge, competencies, values and character to perform successfully, ethically and responsibly throughout their different careers.
GOAL OF THE DEPARTMENT
The goal of the Department is to equip students with the required knowledge, skills, and competencies building a life-long careers through creativity and innovation that will in turn contributes to the Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management Profession and Society.

The Department aspire to values that are based on true professional and academic standards, teamwork, respect, trust, integrity, creativity and innovation that will lead to personal growth and satisfaction of students and staff.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. To focus on building skills in students for delivering customized procurement, logistics and supply chain management solutions.
2. To train students over the complete cycle of distribution of goods from supplier to customer.
3. The program wants to be recognized as the highest standard for building
managerial skills and capacity building for Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
4. To teach students both functional/domain and personal skills to succeed as managers in Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1. Degree in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management
a. Five WASSCE/O’Levels including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings.
b. Duration is four academic years.
2. Diploma in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management
a. Four WASSCE/O’Levels including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings.
b. Duration is two academic years.
HONORS INVITATION
Students who meet the following requirement shall be invited into the Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management Honors Class:
1. Must have been admitted directly into the Degree class
2. Must not have had any reference (s) in their first and second year of studies
DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES
Activities such as:
a. Annual Academic Excellence Award-Student with the highest CGPA per level
b. Pro King and Queen, Supportive Students Award (Male and Female)
c. Annual Field Trips (for final year students)
d. Staff and Students Dinner/Pool Party
