Admission as a freshman takes into account a number of factors. This includes specific courses you completed in high school and your grades in those courses.

Admission Requirements 2022/2023
The following requirements apply to all students who are interested in pursuing a program at the Inscape Design College. Depending upon what type of applicant you are, you may also have to meet additional requirements. The minimum requirements for Inscape Design College admission are outlined below:
Admission Requirements for Degree Programs;
1.Complete High School with excellent grades
2.Achieve the required total Admission Point Score (APS) for the program of choice
3.Achieve the required rating or APS level of each Compulsory subjects in line with faculty requirements
4.Qualify for the Matric Exemption issued by the Matriculation Board (USAF)
5.Meet all other faculty requirements i.e. Portfolio, Clinical Placements
Diploma and Certificate Programs:
Undergraduate diplomas and certificate-seeking applicants do not Matric Exemption or an endorsement from the Matriculation Board (USAF).
Admission Requirements for Diploma and Certificate;
1.Complete High School with excellent grades
2.Achieve the required total Admission Point Score (APS) for the Program of choice
3.Achieve the required rating or APS level of each Compulsory subjects in line with faculty requirements
4.Meet all other faculty requirements i.e. Portfolio, Clinical Placements

Bachelor of Arts Honors in Design
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Existing (NQF level 7) Bachelor of Design Degree or Bachelor of Arts in Design or related field, or an Advanced Diploma in Design or related field may gain access to the Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Design. Students should have attained a minimum average of 60% in the final level of study in order to be accepted into the program.
Applications from students who wish to gain access through RPL will be considered. The RPL process is described in the Inscape Admissions Policy and Inscape RPL Application form. Contact registrar@inscape.co.za
ADDITIONAL FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:
A study permit in the name of Inscape Education Group valid for the duration of the chosen course.
