Everyone wanting to start a new qualification must apply for admission. This includes:
- First-time Vaal University of Technology VUT applicants.
- Vaal University of Technology VUT students changing to a new qualification and/or specialization.
- Students completing a higher certificate or any other program and who wish to continue with further undergraduate studies.
Application Requirements – The selection Process
What does the selection process entail?
In order to study for a South African degree applicants are required to have achieved a South African National Senior Certificate with a degree endorsement.
All International applicants with high school qualifications achieved outside of the Republic of South Africa require a certificate of exemption from the Matriculation Board of South Africa for admission into undergraduate studies.
The following supporting documents must be submitted to the Matriculation Board on the address provided below;
1.Complete High School with excellent grades
2.Achieve the required total Admission Point Score (APS) for the program of choice
3.Achieve the required rating or APS level of each Compulsory subjects in line with faculty requirements
4.Qualify for the Matric Exemption issued by the Matriculation Board (USAF)
5.Meet all other faculty requirements i.e. Portfolio, Clinical Placements
6.Achieve the required total Admission Point Score (APS) for the program of choice
7.Achieve the required rating or APS level of each Compulsory subjects in line with faculty requirements
8.Meet all other faculty requirements i.e. Portfolio, Clinical Placements
