Undergraduate Admissions
Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees) for the 2022 academic year are closed.
Postgraduate Diplomas and Honors Degrees admissions
Applications for admission to honors degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2022 academic year are closed.

Your application will only be considered for admission to the University if you qualify for Bachelor’s degree study AND you satisfy the faculty requirements. To qualify for with a Bachelor’s pass status, learners are required to take seven subjects, four of which are compulsory (two languages, Life Orientation and either Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy) and three of the learner’s own choice from the subjects on offer at the school.
Make sure to review all applicable requirements prior to applying for admission. The admission requirements apply to all students who are interested in pursuing a program or course at the Rhodes University.
NOTE:
- Applications to the Rhodes University should be received no later than the published closing date. Late applications will be accepted after the closing date for most programs, and will be considered on the basis of academic merit, if places are available.
- Also, international students should start the application process as early as possible so you have enough time to apply for a visa.
