AVAILABLE HOSTELS FOR STUDENTS ACCOMMODATION

1.ERIPAK STUDENTS HOSTEL

LOCATION: The hostel is located within the current students learning center – TPO

CAPACITY:

•There are 16 rooms in Boys Hostel and 16 rooms in Girls Hostel, each room has 3 beds and a reading table,

•There is electricity in all the rooms and a standby generator that is used in case of power outages.

•Each room takes up to 3 students,

•Both Hostels are within 10 meters and 20 meters respectively from the dining room, lecture rooms and the Library.

•We have tap water in the hostels and in case of water shortage from the NWSC supply, we avail clean portable water for the Resident Students.

•Boys and Girls have separate toilets and washrooms.

•The Eripak staff are very experienced and friendly.

RENTAL COST:

The Hostel facility will be available at

•75,000= per month per bed , for all Resident Students who choose to take up accommodation only

•UGX 50,000=per month per bed for all Resident Students who choose to eat meals from the Dining room.

MEAL SERVICES

•The canteen and restaurant will be offering the meals, snacks and drinks.

•All Resident Students will be expected to sign an agreement to abide by the rules and regulations governing the Hostel and they will be expected to make payments in advance before occupying the rooms.

•All Students who had unpaid bills are expected to clear all outstanding bills and pay for the Hostel before they can be allowed into the rooms.

2. GEOFREY’S STUDENTS HOSTEL

LOCATION:

The hostel is located at Onzivu, East of Main University Campus, approximately 300metres.

CAPACITY:

The hostel has the following

•3 double rooms with capacity of 4 beds

•6 single rooms with capacity of 2 beds

•3 flush toilets

•5 bathrooms

•2 cooking rooms

•Reading room is available

ENVIRONMENT:

•A well enclosed wall fence with a watchman

•Canteen services available

•Power and water available

•A hostel warden is in place

•The hostel can accommodate both male and female students

•Entertainment services will be provided once students report

•Access road to the university is being improved

•Students security in the area is assured

RENTAL COST:

•Each student will pay 50,000(fifty thousand per bed per month)

•Payments are made per semester

•Water and power costs are met by students

3.MP STUDENTS HOSTEL

LOCATION: the hostel is located at EUWATA along Kampala Arua Highway, approximately half a kilometer from the current students learning center-TPO.

CAPACITY:

The hostel facility has the following

•Six double self-contained rooms with a max of two beds each

•Three single rooms (not self contained) with a capacity of 3 beds each

•Six single rooms (not self contained) with a capacity of 2 beds each

•Eight rooms with a capacity of 4 beds each

•Three toilets and two three bathrooms outside

•Water and power available

ENVIRONMENT:

•A clean environment within a wall fence

•Security guard in place

•A nearby clinic 100 meters away

•A shop, restaurant and a computer service center around the hostel

•Pool table available

RENTAL COST:

Each bed is 65,000 per bed
