Makerere University Government Sponsorship Cut-off Points 2024-2025

Makerere University Government Cut off Points – Details:

If you are a high school senior or a student who has completed high school and has not yet enrolled at another college or university after graduation, you should apply for freshman admission.

Freshman students are those who have not previously enrolled in a regionally accredited college or university, or who have only enrolled in college courses prior to high school graduation.

Admissions 2024-2025

Freshman Admissions takes into account a number of factors. For instance, the exact courses you completed in high school and your grades in those courses. The Course offerings may vary each semester. Read about the detailed comprehensive list of current and recent courses offered at Makerere University scheduled for the 2024-2025 academic year…

REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for courses and programs, you must meet the general and specific entry requirements.

These requirements differ depending on the level of the course or program you’ve applied to – and also what’s required by the institution.

Your admission to the school is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification. If you don’t meet these requirements, you may want to consider alternative qualifications. Click here to visit the qualifications page for all intending applicants.

Some qualifications have limited spaces available. Meeting the general and / specific admission requirements for a qualification does not guarantee that you will be offered a space for the 2024 academic year.

Cut Off Points at the Makerere University

The Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) through the Public Universities Joint Admissions Board (PUJAB) releases fresh cut-off points every academic year for Academic Programs under the Government Sponsorship Scheme. Please see Downloads for detailed cut-off points.

The Office of the Academic Registrar, Makerere University in turn releases fresh cut-off points every academic year for Academic Programs under the Private Sponsorship Scheme. Please see Downloads for the detailed cut-off points:

My comment is that national merit will favor students from best performing schools at the expense of village schools
