CERTIFICATE ENTRY SCHEME ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-2025
The Academic Registrar, Kyambogo University invites online applications from Diploma/Certificate Holders Scheme only, to under listed undergraduate programmes for 2024-2025 Academic year.
Each applicant should possess at least a Credit or Second Class or equivalent Diploma/Certificate in a relevant field from a recognized Institution plus a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes (i.e. 5 subjects without a grade 9) (or its equivalent) and a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least One Principal Pass and Two Subsidiary Passes in the principal subjects obtained at the same sitting (or its equivalent). Please note that the principal subjects required for admission to Diploma must be passed at Principal or Subsidiary levels.
A non-refundable application fee of Shs. 50,000/= for Ugandans and East African Nationals and $30 for other international applicants plus the bank charge, must be paid All Banks connected ACMIS System.
Certified copies of Diploma/Certificate Transcripts (not photocopies of certified copies) from the awarding institutions and Passport size photograph MUST be submitted to the Admissions Division Room 3, after payment of application fees.
NOTE: Only applicants with official Certified Academic Transcripts and Certificates will be considered for admission.

1 Information on specific admission requirements for all programmes is contained in the Diploma/ Certificate Scheme Minimum Entry Requirements obtainable on the KyU website.
2 Applicants should fill and submit the forms online from the website: https://apply.kyu.ac.ug.
3 Use the programme codes (not full names of programmes) when filling application forms.
4 Do not buy any other documents not originating from the office of the Academic Registrar. Those who buy do so at their own risk. BEWARE OF CONMEN AND CONWOMEN!
5 The Academic Registrar has not appointed any agents to act on her behalf to solicit for additional funds other than the application fee stated above.

7 Indicated fees relate to tuition only and exclude other administrative charges whose details can be viewed in the general information brochure. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE UNIVERSITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADMISSION AND TO REVIEW FEES FROM TIME TO TIME.
8 Candidates are warned against submitting forged academic documents as this will lead to automatic cancellation of admission, revocation of award where applicable and prosecution in the courts of Law.
9 Note that: i) Candidates whose Ordinary and Advanced level results are of Grades “Y”, “Z”, “7” and “9” NEED NOT APPLY because they are not eligible for admission. iiå) Candidates who possess 3rd or Pass Diploma NEED NOT APPLY.
