MASTER IN EDUCATION
The Master in Education (M.ED) is a one-and-a-half year course – during the first year of which candidates have two written examinations, at the end of the first and second semesters. During the remaining six months, candidates are expected to write a Dissertation which would be marked by their supervisor( s) and second-marked by an External Examiner.
To apply for the M.ED, a candidate must be a holder of a Bachelor Degree in Education OR have a First Degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or its equivalent.
